Brandi McClellan and Patrick Leahy were married on October 28th in a beautiful ceremony in downtown Sacramento followed by a joyous celebration at the Arcade Underground. Together for more than three years, the couple first met in theatre appreciation class in college where they began their relationship as friends. Brandi suspected Patrick had a crush on her, so at the end of the semester she asked him to lunch and he surprised her with a kiss. Together ever since, the most important thing they wanted for their wedding day was to be surrounded by their friends and family.
Their intimate day was filled with loved ones and many memorable moments. Brandi and Patrick's wedding party included their best friends and three siblings. During a tense moment, Brandi's bridesmaids banded together and remedied an escaped hook on her wedding dress with a carefully placed safety pin. No tears were shed and even MacGyver would have been proud! Likewise, Patrick pulled through by teaching his groomsmen how to tie a Windsor Knot.
Their sweet first look and pre-ceremony photographs were captured at sunset on the grounds of the Capitol Building where Brandi and Patrick are both employed. The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament was a gorgeous setting for their evening ceremony. Father Claude Williams, whom Patrick has known for ten years from being an altar server, flew in from St. Michael's Abbey in Orange County to marry them.
Afterwards, the Arcade Underground in Old town Sacramento provided an informal and fun venue for the celebration which was elegantly decorated by Patrick's mother Nola and event manager Christina in white pumpkins, tulle, and table linens, eucalyptus, childhood photos, and candlelight. A lighthearted first dance was followed by tearful toasts from the maid-of-honor and best man. Among the many poignant moments, was Brandi's dance with her father who surprised her with a song he had written for her as a child. After witnessing such a beautiful joining of two lives, guests danced the night away with the newlyweds.

The Arcade Underground located in Old Town Sacramento was a perfect venue to celebrate their marriage. The indoor and outdoor spaces created a perfect atmosphere to mingle and dance the night away. Brandi's grandfather was in attendance and they shared a special dance together.
